School groups first tour the historic house of Emo Court, before stepping out into its beautiful parklands to explore and study its resident plant and animal life. To avail of Heritage Council funding for this workshop book this half-day workshop through their Heritage in Schools scheme. Workshops run daily from April – September. 10 am - 1.30 pm.

Our workshop in Emo Court is accredited by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI). This means that we support schools in engaging in science education outside of the classroom in a curriculum-relevant and inquiry-based way.
Your school can gain credit towards SFI Discover Science and Maths Award by taking part in one of our workshops in Emo Court.
